Whyte Weddings present Queensberry Albums made in New Zealand. These albums
are simply exquisite and are a lasting family heirloom. Your wedding memories
will become so much more treasured. Allow us to give you a brief overview
on the albums starting with the mat board page systems of Overlay and
Pagemount.
Overlay mounting is the conventional approach where the photograph
is lightly taped behind the mat, with its edge covered by the mat (fig
2).
Pagemount presentation is when the print is trimmed slightly
to reveal the coloured base page, which in effect frames the image (fig1).
At Whyte Weddings we think this is the most pleasing.
Digital albums (fig 3) also known as flushmount, magazine or
digital composite albums. Instead of being placed into mats, the prints
are bound directly into the book. The images are compiled into composites
and then printed as a single image.
There are many options of presentation such as printed covers (fig 5),
translucent intro pages (fig 4), album size, boxes and carry cases (fig
8), mat and cover colours (fig 6). Even smaller parent albums based on
the feature album.
How much input you have in the design depends on how much input you
want? Cathy is a skilled album designer and will involve you in the process.
Queensberry only deal with established professional photographers.
